1. Convenience first: Chinese users like to do all things in one place because it is convenient. They don’t even mind mixing personal and professional life together. WeChat is a great example.
2. QR Code & Login: In China, mobile site access and app downloads are made easy through QR codes. QR code login, SMS login, and third-party logins, e.g. WeChat, are all there.
3. Back-to-Top Scroller: Long pages got you scrolling for ages? Adding a back-to-top scroller ensures a smooth user experience on any lengthy page.
4. Colors & Values: Brighten up your website! Chinese culture associates positive meanings with vibrant colors like red, orange, green, and blue. Promote values of fun, family, friendships, community, and tradition.
5. Service Localization: Don't get lost in translation! Swap Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal for popular Chinese payment processors like Alipay and WeChat Pay. Avoid linking to Google and YouTube. It will slow down website speed.
6. Open in New Tab: Chinese users love opening new webpages in new tabs. It is easier to go back to previous webpages rather than click back button.
