Micromeritics is a global high-performance equipment manufacturer providing characterization of the physical properties, chemical activity, and flowability of particles, powders, and porous materials. Due to global IT planning, Micromeritics’ website must remain consistent with the global site, leaving little room for adjustment. This has significantly increased the difficulty of performing SEO optimization on the website. To better promote its website online in mainland China, the client chose to cooperate with a professional Baidu B2B SEO agency, adopting Baidu SEO promotion strategies for optimization and marketing.

At the beginning of the project in 2022, the website’s monthly organic traffic (PV and UV) was relatively low. Below is the status of organic traffic in April 2022:

a) Conducted an SEO audit, providing professional optimization requirements and recommendations to ensure the website’s basic SEO direction was correct.

b) Developed an SEO plan, breaking down KPI targets into monthly and weekly goals. Progress was reviewed weekly according to the plan, leveraging the SEO agency’s strengths in project management and execution.

c) Produced weekly SEO reports to provide the client with timely updates on traffic progress and lead generation, ensuring transparency and control throughout the SEO process.

f) Tracked keyword rankings:

Performed keyword research based on the website’s situation and needs, monitored keyword rankings, reviewed progress weekly, and proposed improvement strategies.

g) Created a site map:

Added a new site map for the website, completed requirement documentation, and checked all site links. Valid links were included in the HTML version of the site map, allowing both users and crawlers to quickly locate landing pages. High-traffic aggregation pages were used to further improve website indexation and Baidu B2B SEO effectiveness.

Results Sharing

a) Simplified Chinese website (Baidu B2B SEO promotion):

Starting from June, we launched Baidu B2B SEO optimization efforts. Website traffic showed steady growth.

From June to November, the overall trend showed significant increases.

Between April 2022 and the end of April 2023, traffic grew by nearly 400%. (During three months of server downtime, traffic temporarily decreased.) Peak traffic ratios were marked, showing clear growth in UV and PV.

b) Organic traffic increased by nearly 300% MoM compared to pre-project levels, and indexation improved by 80%.
