Why China Needs Its Own Checks
Your website, copy and campaign calendar may work well in the US and Europe. Mainland China runs on a different internet, a different language standard and a different calendar. Each of the four tools below checks one of these gaps.
Your website may not load
Google Fonts, tags, embeds and scripts that work elsewhere can be blocked or slow behind the Great Firewall. Your site can look fine from the US and still break for visitors in mainland China.
Your Chinese copy may not read as mainland
Copy from a Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macao translator, or from a machine, can keep Traditional characters and words that mainland buyers do not use.
Your dates may land on closed weeks
Mainland China and Taiwan have their own holidays, and make-up workdays turn some weekends into working days. Launches, orders and emails planned on a Western calendar can hit a closure.
Your buyers use different channels
China's B2B buyers search on Baidu and follow up on WeChat. A plan built on Google and email alone leaves gaps in your website, search, social and sales follow-up.

China Market Tools FAQ
What are the China Market Tools?
They are four free online checks from dminorstudio. They cover website loading in mainland China, mainland Chinese copy, business dates in Mainland China and Taiwan, and overall China market readiness. Each tool gives you a free result on the page.
Who are the tools for?
They are for marketing, sales and leadership teams at Western B2B companies that sell, or plan to sell, to buyers in mainland China. Use them before you launch a Chinese website, publish Chinese copy or plan a China campaign.
Are the tools free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes. Every tool is free, and each one gives you a score or verdict with no signup. The full reports and plans are also free, but they ask for your email. The Copy Checker report also asks for your name, and the Business Calendar plan subscribes you to our newsletter.
What happens to the URLs and copy I enter?
The Copy Checker runs in your browser, so your pasted text stays on your device. Only your score, issue counts and flagged terms are sent. The Load Risk Scanner fetches the page you enter and scans its HTML, and we keep only the domain name and its score. If you unlock a full report or plan, we also store the email you give us.
Why does China need its own checks?
Fonts, tags and embeds that work elsewhere can be blocked or slow behind the Great Firewall. Copy from a Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macao translator can keep words that mainland buyers do not use. Public holidays and make-up workdays shift the working week. China's B2B buyers also find and contact suppliers through Baidu and WeChat, not only Google and email.
Which tool should I start with?
Start with the China B2B Market Readiness Scorecard. It takes 12 questions and shows the 3 gaps that cost you the most China leads. Then use the Load Risk Scanner, Copy Checker or Business Calendar to work on those gaps.
Are the results official or legal advice?
No. The results are general guidance from dminorstudio, not official figures or legal advice. For example, factory closure patterns vary by factory and region. Confirm important dates and legal questions with your partners and advisers.
